Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

Academic Requirements
- Must be a graduating high school senior.
- Minimum GPA: 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
- Proof of college acceptance or enrollment is required.

Community Involvement
- Demonstrated involvement in community service or extracurricular activities.
- A record of leadership roles or significant contributions to the community is highly valued.

Financial Need
- Preference may be given to students demonstrating financial need.
- Submission of family income documentation or FAFSA may be required.

Essay Submission
- Applicants must submit a personal essay (500–750 words) addressing:
  - Career goals and aspirations.
  - How the scholarship will help achieve their goals.
  - The impact of education on their future and community.

Letters of Recommendation
- Two recommendation letters from a teacher, mentor, or community leader.

Residency
- Must be a resident of Harris County or surrounding counties.
Additional Materials
- Official high school transcript.
- Proof of extracurricular involvement e.g., certificates, awards, or activity logs.
